About Hannah’s Ohana Daycare
Aloha! My name is Hannah, and I am the founder and owner of Hannah’s Ohana Daycare, LLC.
In February 2024, I opened the doors of my beautiful Manoa home to provide full-time care for a group of 5 children (6 including my own son), from the ages of 12 months and up.
As a lifelong caregiver who is passionate about working with children, my goal is to create a safe and nurturing home daycare environment.
At my daycare, I foster growth and learning through a variety of educational and creative activities. I believe that children thrive in an atmosphere that combines both elements of structure and free play, and I strive to build daily routines that are exciting and engaging for children at all stages of development. I plan activities suitable for their individual skill levels – everything from basic letters/colors/shapes to math, science, and reading! I also encourage teamwork and group play to help the children develop important social and emotional skills that will benefit them later in life. Most importantly, I believe in creating an environment that adapts to the children as they grow and change.
With myself plus a small team of highly qualified caregivers, I maintain a high provider-to-child ratio (at least 1:3 -- one adult per 3 children, as recommended by Early Childhood Education experts), which allows me to give personalized attention to each child in my care, to make sure their unique needs and interests are met. This means your child receives the individualized care you’d expect from a nanny, while also benefiting from the socialization, friendships, and joyful learning that come with a daycare group setting. It truly is the best of both worlds!
Above all else, my daycare prioritizes safety protocols to ensure that my home is a secure, comfortable place for children to grow and play.
Last but not least, I provide a nutritional diet* with healthy meals and wholesome snacks to support the vitality and well-being of the children in my care.
I believe that the early childhood experience plays a crucial role in shaping a child’s future, and I am committed to providing an exciting and enriching experience for every child in my daycare!

With my extensive background of 20+ years in childcare, I am a highly-qualified and trustworthy daycare provider.
My experience caring for children began at a young age, as a member of a large family in which I was always taking care of younger family members. After college, alongside my career in theater and non-profit arts organizations, I became a professional nanny and caretaker. My expertise ranges from caring for newborns, to supervising groups of toddlers, to running households for children in elementary school and high school. I also have experience teaching and directing children's theater. I understand and can relate to children in all stages of development!

Daily photos of your child’s activities will be shared with you through a convenient platform (text, email, or social media), and daily reports on your child’s status and progress will be provided at the end of each day.
You may feel free to reach out to me during non-daycare hours with any questions, comments, or concerns, and I will do my best to make myself available to you as needed!

Hours of Operation
Hannah's Ohana Daycare is open from 8:00am to 5:00pm daily, Monday through Friday. There is a holiday and vacation schedule TBD each calendar year.
